The Rainland Fly Casters monthly meetings are at 6:45pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month at El Compadre restaurant in Warrenton, OR (119 S. Main Street). Members typically arrive around 5:30pm for dinner prior to the meeting.

Topic: Fly Fishing Films (Alaska Coho, Pyramid Lake Lahontan Cutthroat Trout)
Rainland Fly Caster president, Derek Wiley, will show two of his fly fishing films from trips to Alaska for coho salmon (30 min) and Pyramid Lake, Nevada, for Lahontan cutthroat trout (7 min). There will be plenty of time for questions to cover trip details including how to get there, lodging options, what to bring, and fly fishing techniques after the films.

Topic: Fly Fishing the Crooked River
Marc is a retired educator who developed a love of fly-fishing after fishing Fall River in Central Oregon as a kid. Since getting a start in the fly fishing industry at Stewart's Custom Tackle in Sandy, Oregon, Marc has conducted numerous presentations at fly fishing clubs and sportsman shows, taught beginner to advanced fly-tying classes, and instructed students in all aspects of fly fishing and casting. Marc is a member of the Ambassador Temple Fork Outfitters and Temple Fork Outfitter fly rods.
